Krisha teases a Dark Lord of the Sith. Hope she knows what she's doing!
That thing on Krisha's head is a dress. Really. It's like a long tube top and stretches out to fit over her, but it's actually too big. When it stretches it gets big enough to fit over a refrigerator. So Krisha instead just pulled onto her head.
Krisha is ready for the beach with her bikini and beach ball. We started this set with just the bikini when I kicked the ball over to her (it was on the floor, like so much of the clutter around here) and she just went with it.
Krisha brought her fabulous new designer jeans, and we feature them in a simple, relaxed setting.
Krisha's checking out this vase I bought at a yard sale. I'm not sure if the yard sale is purely American, but for the benefit of our friends abroad who may not know, a yard sale is when people put all their junk in the yard and hope other people will come along and buy some of it. Well, I bought this vase, and Krisha's deciding if I got a good deal or not. I think we both agreed it was a dollar well spent.
Krisha with her pirate boots. They look like pirate boots a little, but I don't know a pirate would be at her swashbuckling best in spike heels. Krisha might surprise us. I chose not to give her the matching sabre.
Krisha worried about falling off the chair. Well, maybe not falling off, but the way the chair creaks and groans, it seemed as if about to collapse. Fortunately, the seat held and Krisha emerged unscathed. The chair has since been repaired.
Krisha smokes. In more ways than one! The black and white works with the cigarette and the mood in these shots is...interesting. I wish we had more smoke form the cigarette though. Maybe next time she'll try a cigar.
Krisha wants a pool boy. Actually she wants a pool boy named Ramon. She's pretty specific sometimes, but since she has no house or pool, the pool boy would be pretty frivolous. But every girl has a fantasy, right? Such is the conversation and stories told between sets. These are some behind the scenes shots that turned into a set of their own.
The old Rolleiflex has been in the closet a while. I decided to take it out and shoot a roll with Krisha. I'm not sure how well this set turned out. I tried to overexpose a little, and process for grain. There are some shots I like, but plan to try again next time she is here.
Krisha has this toy pistol that I think is supposed to be like some sort of outer space ray gun. It lights up and shoots smoke rings. It can be lots of fun, but the smoke smells bad. I don't think Krisha understands firearms too well, though. Even if just a toy, she kept pointing it at her head, or looking down the barrel. She would get a face full of the foul smelling smoke each time. Sort of like watching the Three Stooges turn on a hose.
